Compact, In-line USB Port Isolation The UH401 family of USB Port Isolators is available in 4 kV or 2 kV versions. They are used to protect your expensive equipment from dangerous ground loops and to help ensure data integrity in electrically noisy environments. The high retention USB connectors hold standard USB cables tight, requiring a minimum of 3.2 lbs.-force to disconnect them. These in-line devices come in several variations, including versions with 4 kV and 2 kV protection, Full Speed (12 Mbps) USB, and Low Speed (1.5 Mbps) USB. As with our other isolators, protection for High Speed (480 Mbps) is not supported due to industry wide limitations.
