The DRS2666S7R upgrades are registered memory modules, which conform to JEDEC's DDR4, PC4-2666V standard. The DRS2666S7LR is a load-reduced memory module (LRDIMM). One EEPROM is used for Serial Presence Detect and a combination register/PLL, with Address and Command Parity is also used.
